IELTS Modules

What are the IELTS modules?

The IELTS exam format is consistent of two modules:

  • Academic: Designed for those who want to study or train in an English-Speaking university at an undergraduate or postgraduate level. Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on the results of the academic IELTS test, and it may also be required for employment purposes.
  • General Training: Designed for those who are going to English-speaking countries for work or immigration purposes.
